"Flair is a primitive kind of style. It is innate and cannot be taught. It can be polished and refined. When a person has flair, a grounding in the principle of design, and self-discipline, that person has the potential of being an outstanding designer."

What I Love Now

Inside Avenue is a website for fresh + modern home furnishings. Inside Avenue's products come from many trade-only vendors, that they willingly supply to the public. Inside Avenue also works with many residential and commercial design companies with ordering luxury furnishings for their projects. Inside Avenue's products they display on their website is the epitome of the type of design characteristics I love. I am very obsessed with inside Avenue and go peruse the website constantly planning and decorating my dream home. The furnishings on the website are chic and classy with a modern twist on traditional favorites. One design style I have become very drawn to is Hollywood Regency. Hollywood regency style started with decorators like Dorothy Draper and Elsie De Wolfe where the term coffee table soon turned in to cocktail table. Now Hollywood Regency is sleek and glamorous and two designers who show two different interpretations of the style is Jan Showers and Kelly Wearstler. One great things about Inside Avenue's website is that they separate items into categories according to their style like Chic & Glamorous, Hollywood Regency, Classy & Traditional, etc.
Here is my current Inside Avenue wishlist!

Twig Side Table

White Peonies-Classic flowers to soften any room.

A precious tufted ottoman that can be used as a cocktail table in any room with the help of a white lacquered tray to keep the eclectic, mixed style look.

An occasional chair with a tufted back and nailhead details that will add a formal touch with a little edge and masculinity to any chic space.

I love when damask is done in a light metallic gold on a neutral linen background. It is so chic and adds interest with the mixture of textures brightness.

A white ceramic garden stool is the perfect accessory for any sun room or veranda to be used as a plant stand or a spot to rest your iced tea.

A gorgeous wool tufted rug with a slate blue background and a foliage vine floral design.

Last but not least is the metal sunburst or starburst radial mirror. The essential piece to any Hollywood Regency room.
